Securing the best possible water quality is essential in every fish farm, whether based on conventional flow-through or intensive recirculation. The first step in water purification is to remove the highest possible amount of sludge and faeces before any other following water purification in drum filters/micro screens, and not least before any water purification with UV-light or ozone.
